Privacy policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026. This policy covers the Zen Stitch: Tapestry Solitaire app for Android, iOS and the web, and this website, operated by XLR8 Technologies (“we”).

What we collect

  • A random player ID. On first launch the app creates an anonymous guest account. We never ask for your name, email, phone number or contacts.
  • Game progress. The highest level reached, stars per level, Golden Buttons and gems, items you own and your Golden Thread membership date, so we can back up your progress.
  • Gameplay statistics. For each finished level: time taken, taps, attempts, and whether Oops, boosters or the gentler deal were used. We also record a few in-game events (a level started or failed, Oops shown or used, the vault opened, a purchase started) with the level number and time. We use this only to find levels that are too hard.
  • Purchase records. When you buy something, Google Play (or Apple) gives the app an order ID and purchase token, which we store (the token encrypted) to deliver the item. We never see your card or payment details.
  • Language and platform. Your device language and whether you play on Android, iOS or the web.

Advertising

The free version shows occasional ads between levels, served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device’s advertising ID, IP address and approximate location to show and measure ads. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.

How we use it

Only to run and improve the game: saving progress, delivering purchases, preventing abuse, and tuning levels. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for anything else.

Storage and retention

Data is stored on our servers in the European Union. We keep it while your account is active. When you delete your data it is erased at once (see below).

Children

Zen Stitch is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

You can delete all of your data at any time, from inside the app or by email. See Delete your data.
